Air Monitoring
Our environmental experts conduct odor monitoring tests twice daily at 13 locations. State officials collect air data 24/7, and conduct daily and weekly tests. We implemented an Odor Management Plan with protocols for identifying, investigating and remediating odor occurrences, to include real-time response capabilities. In addition, we leverage alternative technologies where possible to further control odor. Today, nine out of ten odor complaints filed are determined to have originated from a non-landfill source.
